The newly announced cosmic-themed event Evolving Stars for Pokémon GO will feature many raid opportunities including a Mega Gyarados day. Here is some important info regarding the Evolving Stars raids.
Evolving Stars Event Raids
One-Star Raids
For the One Star Raids, all the Pokémon will have a chance at being Shiny Pokémon.
- Slowpoke
- Onix
- Scyther
- Porygon
- Sunkern
Three-Star Raids
Players can expect only Togetic to possibly be shiny in these raids.
- Magneton
- Rhydon
- Togetic
- Piloswine
Five-Star Raids
The two Pokémon featured in the five-star raids are Xerneas and Yveltal. Both can potentially be shiny Pokémon so keep your eyes peeled.
Yveltal's raid will appear starting Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Next Xerneas' will begin on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
Mega Raids
Like the Five-Star Raids, each of these two Mega Pokémon will start around the same time. Both of these could be shiny Pokémon as well.
Mega Lopunny will show up in raids from Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Like Xerneas, Mega Manectric's raid will start later on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
Mega Gyarados Raid Day
Lastly, on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m Mega Gyarados and even Shiny Mega Gyarados will have a high chance of appearing in the raids. Spinning Photo Disc at Poke Gyms will reward players with up to five additional Raid Passes so be sure to take advantage of it.
