After teasing the reveal on Sept 9, Activision finally gave fans an official look at Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile during the Call of Duty: Next event on Thursday and revealed the return of Verdansk.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be featuring all of the content that players have come to love in Call of Duty: Warzone such as up to 120 player matches, the Gulag, and buy stations. Players can also look forward to cross-progression across Warzone Mobile, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Content surrounding the mobile experience such as events and playlists will await players dropping into Warzone Mobile.
Warzone Mobile Map is Verdansk
Warzone Mobile will be dropping players into the classic Verdansk map that was prominently featured in Call of Duty: Warzone. This will mark the very first time that mobile users will be able to experience Verdansk and its various locales. This map will feature many of the locations that fans of the series have come to know such as TV Station, Prison, Lumber, and Dam. It was also announced that players will also get the chance to experience the brand new Warzone 2.0 map, Al Mazrah, at a later date.
Currently, Warzone Mobile has a 2023 release window, and players eagerly awaiting its release can pre-register the game on Google Play. Players can also look forward to various in-game rewards if certain pre-registration goals are met.
