With the NBA Finals having wrapped up on June 16, it's no surprise that many are wondering when NBA 2K23 will officially be revealed.
Of course, NBA 2K22 Season 7: Return Of Heroes is still going strong, complete with new prizes and levels for players to attain. However, with the draft and free agency sending shockwaves in the real world, momentum is certainly steering towards the next title in the basketball simulation franchise to make its debut. As such, here's a breakdown of when NBA 2K23 will be revealed.
When is the NBA 2K23 Reveal?
Unfortunately, at the time of publication, 2K and the development team at Visual Concepts have yet to officially reveal NBA 2K23.
However, as many longtime fans of the series can certainly attest to, the release patterns for NBA 2K games over the years have been very consistent, even through lockouts and season postponements.
Here are the recent reveal dates for previous NBA 2K titles:
- NBA 2K19:Â June 5, 2018
- NBA 2K20:Â July 1, 2019
- NBA 2K21:Â July 11, 2020
- NBA 2K22:Â July 14, 2021
As such, you can almost certainly pencil in the reveal date for NBA 2K23 to land next month.
The first official bit of NBA 2K23 news fans have received thus far is that the series has partnered with the NBA Summer League as its naming partner and that more details for the game will drop closer to the event.
This year, the NBA 2K23 Summer League will begin on July 7 and conclude on July 17.
