Following its accolades for Elden Ring during the Game Awards, FromSoftware revealed its newest upcoming title, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. While rumors of the title have circulated since early this year, the new trailer has finally established a release date.
A new entry in the Armored Core series is highly anticipated by fans, as its most recent release is nearly a decade old. The game's core mechanic, which involves piloting mechs in a futuristic sci-fi universe amongst the stars, will make comeback. Additionally, Hidetaka Miyazaki, who directed previous entries in the series, has reportedly made his return as Initial Game Director.
As of writing, there is no official US website--despite this, the game's Steam page states that it will center around the adventures of an independent mercenary in the middle of a struggle to obtain a new energy source discovered on the planet Rubicon 3.
