Baldur's Gate III, the third installment in the epic RPG series developed by Larian Studios, is finally releasing this year. The game, which has been in Early Access on Steam since 2020, is nearing its full release on PC and PlayStation 5. Here's when you can get your hands on Baldur's Gate III.
Baldur's Gate III takes place within the Dungeons & Dragons universe, and plans to offer a fully immersive D&D experience, complete with its iconic classes, races, spells, weapons and world. Early Access reactions have been very positive, with PCGamer noting the game offers an impressive level of simulation and systems-based gameplay.

As announced in yesterday's State of Play stream, Baldur's Gate III fully releases on PlayStation 5 and PC on Aug. 31. To celebrate this announcement, Larian Studios released a new trailer detailing new gameplay and story details. One exciting new detail is that the game features the voice talent of famed Hollywood actor J.K Simmons, known for playing J. Jonah Jameson in the Spiderman movies among other roles.
Baldur's Gate III is set to be a massive, landmark RPG, and everyone will be able to play it soon. Until then, players can continue to play in the Early Access build on Steam.
