Zorua finally made its way to Pokémon GO, and trainers are already wondering whether Zorua can be shiny.
As Niantic teased Zorua at the beginning of this month, trainers were strongly anticipating the arrival of the Tricky Fox Pokémon to the game, so they were initially disappointed when they saw Zorua was absent from the lineup of featured wild spawn for the Pokémon GO’s Halloween event. Fortunately, on Oct. 28, Niantic apologized for the delay and announced that Zorua would be entering the game for the latter half of the event.
From the time it was announced to Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. local time, trainers will be able to catch Zorua in the wild. However, there is a twist.
Like Ditto, Zorua is able to disguise itself as different Pokémon in the wild and will reveal itself only when caught. Taking the disguise of your Buddy Pokémon, it can be quite difficult spotting out the Generation Five Pokémon. Before trainers start trying to figure out how they are able to catch as many Zorua as they can, there still remains the unanswered question of whether Zorua can appear as shiny.
Can Zorua be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
Unfortunately, at this time, there is not a shiny form for Zorua in Pokémon GO. However, it is still worthwhile to catch the Dark-type Pokémon. Though Zorua might not be the strongest in battle, for 50 of its candies, trainers are able to evolve it into Zoroark.
