Shapeshifters, a promotion that fans will be familiar with from playing FIFA 20, involves player cards placed out of their ordinary position. That means, virtual managers will have additional flexibility, and possibly be able to play the same player at different positions on their roster.
The leak was announced by Twitter leaker FutSheriff, who later speculated several players' participation in the promo. The promotion was later confirmed through a loading screen.

To put it plainly, fans of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team are excited for the promotion. Player cards are expected to be available through packs, as well as squad challenges, and objectives.
The Shapeshifters promo is expected to launch tomorrow, June 17, after the conclusion of the well-known Team of the Season promotion.
