Resurgence mode is back in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 with a new Restore Honor feature.

Season 2 introduced Ashika Island, a new playground designed for Resurgence and DMZ. The Japanese-inspired map includes seven POIs, and is roughly twice the size of Rebirth Island. The combination of open terrain and building-heavy areas allows for the fast gameplay of Resurgence, where respawns are enabled.

Along with the new map, Resurgence mode brings an opportunity for players to benefit from returning to the site where they or their teammates died. Here's a breakdown of how to Restore Honor on Ashika Island.

Now, when a player falls in a Resurgence match on Ashika Island, they will drop a dog tag once per match. The dog tag can either be retrieved by the fallen player once they redeploy, or by their teammates.

After a player picks up the dog tag, their squad will receive a $1,000 cash reward and a UAV to reveal any enemies within a 300-meter radius. In addition, a 50-meter radar ping will activate and mark any loot and supply crates in that radius.

Restoring Honor not only gives your team more money, information, and a greater chance at survival, but it will also contribute to one of the challenges in the Path of the Ronin Event.
