Blizzard has finally added Dark Ranger customizations for your Elf characters in World of Warcraft Patch 9.2.5, as well as a transmog set for Hunter Classes. The long-rumored additions to character customization are here, and so is everything you need to know about obtaining them.
How to Unlock the Dark Ranger Customization Options & Transmog Set in 9.2.5
The Dark Ranger Customizations will be available all Night Elf, Blood Elf, and Void Elf characters. They feature a greyed-out, ashy skin color, with glowing red eyes. To unlock them players will need to complete a quick questline centered around the Tirisfal Glades. To unlock this quest, Alliance players need to find Genn Greymane, and Horde players Calia Menethil in The Enclave on Oribos.
Completing the quest should not take too long, and will take you in and around the Tirisfal Glades with a stop at Maldraxxus in the middle. Once done, hand in the quest to the NPC you received it from and you will receive the Return to Lordaeron achievement, which will give you an achievement and access to the Dark Ranger customizations. Simply select the new skin color or red eye color to use the new presets. If you complete the questline as a Hunter, you will also unlock the ability to purchase the Dark Ranger Transmog set from Outfitter Reynolds at your Class Hall.
