Turn-based strategy game Humankind is getting a console release, with pre-orders now live. Here's what you need to know.
Humankind, a 4X-style game akin to that of Civilization, launched last year for PC. Players lead a civilization throughout stages of history, gathering resources, claiming territories, expanding cities, and more. The types of civilizations that players can choose from are all based on historical societies, each with their own bonuses and penalties.
But, as found frequently in any growing society, war and conflict is inevitable. Players can bolster their military forces, defending their territories and conquering others. Wars can last for days or even years in long, hard-won battles.
So far, Humankind has only been available on Windows PC and MacOS. Now, a console release is planned for Nov. 4, 2022. Pre-orders for the game are now live â here's what's included in each edition.
