Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed has finally been released and fans are wondering if they can answer the call on Xbox Game Pass.
The team behind hit titles such as Predator: Hunting Grounds and Friday the 13th: The Game, Illfonic, has brought their talents and creativity to the Ghostbusters franchise in their latest game. As in their previous titles, matches will consist of four players working together to take down a single player.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed will have players joining the franchise as either a new Ghostbusters recruit or as one of the ghosts terrorizing buildings and bystanders. Fans of the series will get to use recognizable gadgets such as the Proton Pack and the Ghost Trap as they work to stop ghosts from completely overtaking an area. Much to fans' delight, Illfonic has also brought over notable actors Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson to reprise their iconic roles.
Is Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed on Xbox Game Pass?
As of this writing, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is not available on Xbox Game Pass. The new Illfonic game will have to be purchased through the Xbox game store to access its content. This doesn't mean that it won't be added to the popular service in the future. Currently, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
