Noibat, a Generation VI Pokémon, was released in Pokémon GO on Dec. 2, 2020. As a Dragon- and Flying-type Pokémon, it can be very difficult for any trainer to find it while playing Pokémon GO.
As any Pokémon player can attest to, Dragon-type Pokémon are often hard to come by and even then, require rigorous training to get a pay-off from them sometimes. So searching for a shiny form of one of these Dragon-type Pokémon can prove draining and is a commitment.
Is Noibat Shiny in Pokémon GO?
Shiny Noibat can thankfully be found in Pokémon GO, as it was added during the Halloween event of 2022, almost two years after Noibat's initial Pokémon GO release.
The shiny form of Noibat has a green tint to it with black fur, as opposed to the usual form that is purple with much less black to it than the shiny iteration. This is one Pokémon that has a shiny form that can easily be spotted and distinguished from the non-shiny form, unlike other Pokémon like Gengar and Garchomp.
As stated earlier, it can be very exhausting to find a shiny Pokémon like Noibat, considering it is already rare enough as is, but players will be rewarded with a shiny Pokémon that is sure to stand out.
Noibat is the featured Pokémon for the upcoming Pokémon GO Community Day event on Sunday, Feb. 5, and players will have a heightened chance of finding a shiny Noibat during the event.
