Apex Legend's newest playable character, Newcastle, has been confirmed for Season 13.
Apex fans certainly have a reason to celebrate, as the latest Legend to grace the game has been announced. Newcastle has made his first appearance in a brand new trailer for Season 13, confirming that he is in fact Bangalore's brother.
Newcastle is voiced by Gabe Kunda, a voice actor that many might recognize as KAY/O in Valorant and Jackal in Call of Duty: Warzone.
The launch trailer gives fans a glimpse at a number of Newcastle's upcoming abilities, many of which were revealed through the recent Apex Legends leak. With the leaks proving to be true, Newcastle is cemented as a Defensive Legend - joining the ranks alongside Rampart, Gibraltar, and Wattson.
But a new Legend isn't all that's coming in Apex Legends Season 13: Saviors. Players will be treated to a new threat on Storm Point in the form of a deadly beast. In addition, Ranked Play will be getting a rework, and players will be able to jump into a brand new Battle Pass.
The new launch trailer also revealed that another glimpse into the upcoming season would be happening on April 28. Players can likely expect to learn more about Newcastle and his backstory in the Stories from the Outlands - "Hero" reveal trailer in a few days time.
