Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 Details
This year, Sustainability Week will run from Wednesday, April 20 at 10 a.m. to Monday, April 25 at 8 p.m. local time. For the duration of the event, trainers will have access to the following bonuses:
- 2x XP from spinning PokeStops for the first time.
- A free event box containing Mossy Lures will be available in the Item Shop.
- A "nature-themed" Collection Challenge will be available, containing a couple of Mossy Lure-exclusive Pokemon.
Oranguru, the "Sage Pokémon," and shiny Cherubi will be making their in-game debut.
Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 Community Day Timed Research
On April 23, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, a special Timed Research line will be available for trainers to complete. Each task requires trainers to explore 1 k.m. and the reward for each task completed is a Cherubi encounter.
Additionally, for every 5 k.m. trainers walk, Niantic Labs will commit to planting a tree up to 100,000 trees.
Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 Collection Challenge
The following Pokemon are required to complete the collection challenge:
- Cherubi
- Grotle
- Grimer
- Weepinbell
- Gloom
- Trubbish
Rewards for completing this challenge include 10000 XP, 15 Great Balls, and an encounter with Meganium.
Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 Wild Encounters
The following Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild during this event:
- (Shiny) Oddish
- (Shiny) Grimer
- (Shiny) Turtwig
- (Shiny) Cherubi
- (Shiny) Trubbish
- (Shiny) Ferroseed
- (Shiny) Venusaur
- Phantump
- Oranguru
- Grotle
Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 Research Encounters
The following Pokemon will be appearing as part of the rewards for completing research tasks:

- (Shiny) Trubbish
- (Shiny) Snivy
- Chespin
- Phantump
Trainers may also collect Mega energy for Venusaur and Abomasnow.
