The past few months have seen Game Freak releasing more and more information about the upcoming Pokémon titles despite their release still being nearly three months away. We know that the new games will be set in Paldea, and just like every new Pokémon region will come with its own unique Pokémon and characters. Alongside those regional changes, new items are being added to the game in an effort to spice up combat and give players more options. One such new item is the Loaded Dice, which should make certain Pokémon much more lethal.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Loaded Dice Revealed
The Loaded Dice in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will increase the potency of multistrike moves. The exact explanation from the official Scarlet and Violet website says, "If a Pokémon holding this item uses a multistrike move, that move will be more likely to hit more times."
This means that Pokémon that use moves like Scale Shot and Spike Cannon will see a massive boost holding Loaded Dice. Loaded Dice will certainly not be used for most Pokémon, but if you load multiple multistrike moves on one Pokémon, the new item could certainly be worth the use. Loaded Dice will also most likely only be useful on multistrike that deal a ton of damage, since its benefits won't be as significant on weaker moves like Arm Thrust and Barrage.
