Poopernoodle: Bank rejects Twitch streamer after she mistakenly claimed to be 'adult entertainer'

If you thought the Internet culture is stripping people of their real-life skills, here's some living proof. While filling out some forms at the bank, a Twitch streamer named Poopernoodle made an absolute mess-up of her occupation information as she didn't know what an "adult performer" was. Needless to say, the embarrassing error led to quite a few banking problems for the clueless youngster.

The woman was turned down by a bank because she was unaware of some of the conditions related to her employment when she signed a contract. Funnily enough, the Twitch star thought that "adult entertainer" was an accurate description of her job, but that led to her being rejected.

‘Adult entertainer’

When asked what her job was, poopernoodle said during the stream that "nothing really fit the bill" before she found one that caught her attention. She laughed and said, “Adult online entertainer, I took that and I was like ‘yeah’ that’s what I am. I’m an adult and I entertain people online.”

Poopernoodle's error ultimately lost her money because the bank rejected her right away. Fortunately, she chuckled away the whole incident, so it appears she is not too upset about it.

‘I was mad’

Poopernoodle was apparently unaware that "adult entertainer" is a euphemism for what we know it is - a sex worker, until she was ultimately enlightened by her mom. She said, “I was mad, because if they meant sex worker, then why didn’t they just write ‘sex worker!’”

She added that she is not a sex worker herself, but it opened her eyes to how it "sucks" for sex workers to get a bank account. It also demonstrated that bureaucracy is still coming to grips with the concept of influencing, despite online influencers invading mainstream culture for a decade thanks to business partnerships and the Disney Channel.
