Respawn have rolled out some surprise fixes to Apex Legends Ranked in Season 16, making some much needed adjustments to the competitive mode.
Season 16 has been a welcome change to Apex Legends, shaking up the classes and making some key changes to certain Legends. The adjustments have paid off, too. Apex has seen its player counts reach new peaks, and some Legends have even moved up in the pick rates.
But it hasn't all been smooth. Apex Legends Ranked has been troubled in recent weeks. From visual bugs to game crashes, players have had a frustrating time trying to earn RP and progress through the ranks. With players being vocal about their experiences, Respawn has taken notice and issues some spontaneous fixes.
Respawn Issues Fixes for Apex Legends Ranked
In a Twitter post on Feb. 21, Respawn announced a numer of updates that have been rolled out to Apex Legends Ranked. These fixes, while not huge, have sought to curb some of the bugs and problems that players have been experiencing as of late.
"We've been working behind the scenes to roll out some fixes to Ranked," Respawn said. The following updates have been added to Apex:
- Players will no longer be inaccurately demoted.
- Respawn are still working on a visual bug showing inaccurate RP loss.
- Respawn are looking to make an exceptional, one-time RP restoration for players.
Any RP that players have missed out on due to these issues will be restored, so players won't have to lament their lost gains any longer.
As for the one-time RP restoration, Respawn have said that more information on this will be coming soon.
