In honor of Star Wars Day 2022, BioWare and EA Star Wars announced that they will be giving Star Wars: The Old Republic players a free in-game orange P1-XL droid minipet.

The Old Republic May the 4th Event
"In honor of Star Wars Day," the Star Wars: The Old Republic team said in their May 2 dev blog, "and to show our appreciation for all of our players in a galaxy far, far away, we're giving away the orange P1-XL droid! This droid's boxy chassis and high-visibility paint ensure that you'll never lose sight of him as he follows along in your many adventures!"
Between May 3 at 8 a.m. ET and May 10 at 8 a.m. ET, all players who simply log in to Star Wars: The Old Republic will have their very own orange P1-XL droid mini-pet will be waiting for them in their in-game mailbox.
In addition to the P1-XL mini-pet, the SWTOR May the 4th event will also see players receive two additional benefits.
One is that the Cartel Market will be holding a 50%-off collection-unlock sale, while the other is that all players will earn double XP. Both of these will run for the same duration as the mini-pet login promotion.
Ultimately, players interested in claiming the reward should be sure to log onto Star Wars: The Old Republic anytime within the seven-day window to ensure that they get their free mini-pet.
