The Valorant LOCK//IN tournament is the biggest Valorant esports event of all time and includes 32 teams from across the world to find out who is the best. Riot Games opted to release a new melee weapon skin bundle to help fans and players get excited for the massive tournament, which will be available until Mar. 7.
The tournament began Feb. 13 and will broadcast games frequently throughout each week until the Grand Finals on Mar. 4. The prevailing team will receive $100,000 out of the $500,000 total prize pool.
There was a change in scheduling that moved one of the matches to Feb. 15, so the first two matches of the tournament start today. The two losing teams will be eliminated due to the single elimination format, but each match in the opening rounds will be best of three.
