It's been teased for what feels like forever. Godzilla and King Kong are heading to Call of Duty: Warzone to battle it out on Caldera. The event, which finally starts tomorrow May 11, will be a stand-alone game mode specifically for Quads.
The action isn't just going to be limited to the ground troops. Developers have revealed that players will have the chance to take control of one of the mega beasts to deal some truly monsterous devastation. While the full details of everything involved in the mode haven't been explained just yet, it's sure to be one to remember.

Call of Duty: Warzone Operation Monarch Start Time
The limited-time Operation Monarch event will begin at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET on May 11.
Players will likely have the chance to earn some exclusive themed rewards. Previous events have offered a variety from XP boosts, Weapon Charms, and other cosmetics.
Special cosmetic bundles have also been made available in celebration of the event. Players can purchase Kong, Godzilla, and Mechagodzilla bundles, featuring themed Outfits and more. These bundles are only available for a limited time, but allows players to don the appearance of their favorite kaiju, albeit on a much, much smaller scale.
