A surprising Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover could be heading to Call of Duty. Here's what we know.
Call of Duty is no stranger to bizarre crossovers, having seen collaborations with the likes of Attack on Titan, Scream and Godzilla to name a few. Now, as we head towards the midway mark for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2, it looks as though a new crossover is on the horizon.
Teased in a short video posted to the official Call of Duty Twitter account, close ups of a new Operator skin were revealed which look identical to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles supervillain Shredder.
The video was accompanied by the caption "A new evil will rise" and both the ninja and dual swords emojis.
The TMNT collaboration has yet to be overtly announced, but the clues are pretty much all there. At the time of writing, though, a release date for the collaboration has yet to be revealed. Similarly, the full extent of the collaboration is unclear.
Will players simply see a Shredder Operator skin in-game, or could there be more skins and cosmetics to come?
Recently, a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated move, titled Mutant Mayhem, was announced. The film is set to release in August 2023.
