Now that the HD remaster of Final Fantasy VII's prequel, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, has been out for about a week, it's perhaps no surprise that many are wondering if the game has a New Game Plus mode.

New Game Plus has been known by several names over the years in various single-player games, but its function has remained the same. Once players complete a game on any difficulty for the first time, New Game Plus allows them to start the game over again on a fresh file with certain perks intact. Essentially, this creates an experience where all the exclusive buffs and items that the player unlocked through hours of gameplay are available at the start of a fresh save, adding another layer of experience and replay value.

Here's a breakdown of whether or not Crisis Core Reunion has a New Game Plus mode.
