Apex Legends Season 14 has been underway for a few days now and players are already figuring out how to use the new legend Vantage.
Vantage has two abilities, her Echo tactical and her sniper ultimate. Since her release, the sniper has been great. Especially when highlighted enemies receive double damage for a few seconds.
But just like any other legend, players are trying to figure out what tricks they can use with Vantage. Well, one clever trick has already been found involving her tactical friend, Echo.
How to Use Vantage's Echo in Apex Legends
Once Vantage sends out Echo, other legends can place their abilities on top of him. So far, only two legend abilities work with Vantage and one survival item.
- Horizon's Black Hole
- Lifeline's D.O.C. Drone
- Heat Sheilds
These place-able abilities or items can be placed and then moved with Echo. When Vantage tells Echo where to fly, the placed item follows and also moves around.
This is the first of many tricks that will be found with Vantage. And unlike many others, tricks that are found, this one may be very useful for a long time.
This may start to affect the legend selection process and how often we see some legends. Legends like Horizon and Lifeline are not the most popular right now, but with this trick, they may see an uptick in popularity.
