To celebrate this year's Día de Muertos, Pokémon GO will have an event themed around the holiday as part of its ongoing Season of Light promotion. Here are some of the Pokémon that will be seen and tasks that can be completed during Día de Muertos including a new look for Duskull.
Pokémon GO Día de Muertos 2022 Encounters: Wild, Lure, and Tasks
Making their debut during the event will be a variation Duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir each wearing a cempasúchil crown. From Tuesday, Nov. 1 to Nov. 2 Pokémon GO trainers can catch these Día de Muertos-themed Pokémon.

These wild encounters will have the chance to be shiny and will also appear more frequently in the Caribbean and Latin America regions.

Incense and Lure Encounters
Like the wild encounters, these Pokémon will appear more frequently in the Caribbean and Latin America regions when incense or lures are used. Sunflora is the only Pokémon listed that will not be able to be shiny.
