Pokémon GO Mythic Blade Event Explained

Starting on Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. local time to 8 p.m. on Dec. 11, the Mythic Blade event will be occurring in Pokémon GO. This event is part of the new ninth season of Pokémon GO titled Mythical Wishes and will feature the debut of the colt Pokémon Keldeo. Here is some important information regarding the Mythic Blade event.

Pokémon Debuts

Three new Pokémon will make their debut in the Mythic Blade event. Keldeo the showcase Pokémon can be caught if players purchase the Something Extradoinrary event ticket for $7.99. Alongside Keldeo, Crabrawler the Fighting-type Pokémon from generation seven will also make their debut in Pokémon GO. With 50 Crabrawler candies, trainers can evolve their Crabrawler into a Crabominable.

Sacred Sword

During specific times of the event the Pokémon Terrakion, Virizion, and Keldeo that are caught can have the move Sacred Sword. Sacred Sword during trainer battles is valued at 60 power and during raids, it will be 55.

  • Terrakion - from Dec. 8 at 10:00 a.m. to Dec. 15 at 10:00 a.m. local time
  • Virizion - from Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. to Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
  • Keldeo - caught during the Something Extraordinary special research story.

  • Power up Pokémon 15 times - Galarian Farfetch'd
